With snow showing up on peaks all around the state, people are looking to shed their summer clothes and don some fresh duds.

For the ski and snowboarding type, look no further than Jiberish’s “LoHi” clothing boutique, located on Platte Ave. in the Riverfront neighborhood. Directly across the street from The Denver Brewing Company, this men’s boutique is the first of three shops in the country (along with stores in Park City and Boston).

A relatively new company, it started in 2005, Jiberish has found rare start-up success. The company sells clothes around the globe and can be seen on popular musical artists and athletes such as: Pretty Lights, Method Man, Redman, Celtics player Jared Sully and pro-skier Tom Wallisch (if the name doesn’t ring a bell, maybe this commercial from The North Face last winter will jog your memory Tom Wallisch North Face Commercial ).

The company’s Fall/Winter “Delivery One” and “Delivery Two” are available online now at jiberish.com and “Two” will be available in the boutiques sometime the first week of October. The collection is a mix of their famous in the snow industry, bold graphic designs, flannel jackets and snapback hats but with a more rugged, woodsy twist this year. Highlights of the new line include: snap-button flannels, crewneck sweatshirts and hunter inspired vests.

And although the store is men’s clothing, it’s not uncommon to see skier/rider girls rocking the hoodies and hats, too.
